Series I, Administrative Documents, contains 14 files arranged chronologically from 1959 to 2019. Within these files, there are Alumnae Chapter treasurer’s reports, alumnae applications and member lists, minutes of their monthly meetings, fraternity related correspondence, event announcements and programs, awards, obituaries, bylaws, objectives, agendas, some of their monthly newsletters titled “Dayton Dialogue,” and a “Pan Pipes” book that documents the history of Sigma Alpha Iota. Along with these documents, the folders titled "miscellaneous programs and awards ect." contain papers that were found loose in the scrapbooks from Series III.

Series II, Yearbooks, contains 19 files divided between 2 boxes arranged chronologically from 1959 to 2020. The Dayton Alumnae Chapter created yearly books for their chapter and most of the yearbooks have multiple copies in this collection. The books cover both national and Dayton Alumnae officers, objectives, and chapter provinces for the year. Additionally, they document the Dayton Alumnae yearly calendar and members list.

Series III, Scrapbooks, contains 6 scrapbooks arranged chronologically from 1959 to 2008. These scrapbooks are comprised of news clippings regarding fraternity members or the fraternity itself, correspondence, event announcements, directories, schedules and programs, obituaries, copies of yearbooks, monthly newsletters titled “Dayton Dialogue,” membership welcome letters, certificates of appreciation, and photos of fraternity members and meetings. The bulk of the materiel within the scrapbooks that cover the years 1990 to 2008 are “Dayton Dialogue” newsletters. Papers found loose within the scrapbooks “1973-1989,” “1990-1997,” and “summer 2008” can be found in folders located in Series I.

Series IV, Photographs, contains photos divided between 2 binder boxes arranged chronologically from 1985 to 2005. This series also contains 47 digital photographs that appear to be taken sometime between 1990 and 2019. These photos showcase the SAI national convention, the Dayton Alumnae 40th anniversary celebration, performances, conventions, the Dayton’s women’s club, individual fraternity members, and numerous other events, celebrations, and meetings.
