Scope and Contents
Presented to Orville Wright by the Curtiss-Wright Corporation recording a war production drive radio program commemorating the opening of Curtiss-Wright’s Airplane Division. The album contains six phonodiscs recording He Does Not Fly Alone, originally broadcast April 11, 1943 over the Mutual Broadcasting System. The announcer is Edward G. Robinson. A seventh phonogram contains the Curtiss-Wright “Morale Song”, Back up our Battleskies.
