Wright Brothers Hill Photograph Album, 1938-1940
Scope and Contents
Contains photographs taken during the construction and dedication of the Wright Brothers memorial on hill overlooking Huffman Prairie, now part of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, 1938-1940. 47 pp. The album contains 200 photographs recording the Civilian Conservation Corps work crew, foremen, memorial committee members, the monument itself, Huffman Prairie, Orville Wright, Edward Deeds, and other dignitaries at the dedication in 1940.
