Scope and Contents
Lamson built this glider apparently to Chanute’s specifications. It was shipped to the Wright’s camp at Kill Devil Hills where Chanute and Augustus M. Herring tested it between October 5 and October 14, 1902. Front view with man, possibly Lamson, supporting uncovered airframe. C.H. Lamson would later be involved in a lawsuit against Orville Wright.
