Scope and Content

During Dr. Harry Dyme's time at the Aero-Medical Laboratory, he conducted some field experiments to see what type of rations was best for artic survival. This collection holds some of his reports and corresponding photos of the tests as well as films.

Series I, Reports and Projects, contains Dr. Dyme's reports of his findings during his Alaskan tests in 1950 regarding rations as well as an abstract to the course of the tests. It also includes newspaper clippings of the results of similar tests. This series also has photographs of the field tests; the camp site, various photos of the precipitants.

Series II, Film and DVDs, consists of four 16mm film rolls and one 32mm film roll of the Alaskan tests and results. There are DVDs in this series that correspond with the film rolls.
