The collection consists of a single volume of handwritten minutes, including a small amount of related financial information and news clippings also within the volume. Of particular note are the lists of party candidates, delegates to state conventions, and advisors from the specific wards and townships.

Notable names throughout the volume include: John A. McMahon (U.S. Congressman for the district 1875-1881); John M. Sprigg; George W. Houk; and Charles N. Vallandingham (son of Clement L. Vallandingham). The Committee's chairmen, as named in this volume include: David A. Houk, Dennis Dwyer, James Turner, Judge W. D. McKemy, Henry C. Marshall, Frederick Schutte, and Joel O. Shoup.
