The Cleveland Air Races Collection contains 39 black and white photos of 1929 Cleveland Air Races and associated festivities. The photos are reproductions of original materials housed at Cleveland State University's Special Collections. As well, there are 3 programs, photocopied in their entirety. These souvenir programs document the 1931, 1932, and 1934 Air Races. The collection is divided into two series.

Series I, Photos of the 1929 Cleveland Air Races Series I contains the reproduction photos of the 1929 Cleveland Air Race. The photos are individually identified by subject of the print. There are 39 photos in total. Series II, Xeroxed Copies of the Souvenir Programs from the Cleveland Air Races Series II contains photocopies of the souvenir programs for the 1931, 1932, and 1934 Air Races. The programs were copied in their entirety.
