Subseries I-B: Personality Files Medium (PM)

Scope and Contents Subseries I-B: Personality Medium (PM) consists of 5” x 8” files (sometimes referred to as “card size” files in earlier descriptions and indices). This subseries includes both photographs (8 linear feet) and clippings (64 linear feet). Because of the smaller file size, the files in this subseries tend to contain fewer items per file than the PL files. Subseries I-D: Personality Files Oversize (OSBP and OSD)

Scope and Contents

Subseries I-D: Personality Oversize (OSBP and OSD) consists of photographs only, in sizes too large to fit into the ordinary 9” x 12” files in PL. The majority of these photographs are in 13” x 16” flat boxes (OSBP), and ones too large even for those boxes are stored in flat file drawers (OSD) in map folders. Subseries I-E: Personality VIP Files (PVIP)

Scope and Contents

Subseries I-E: Personality VIP Files (PVIP) may include photographs and clippings for specific “very important people” (frequently requested people). These have been separated out into their own special box(es), often a 3-ring binder box (in the case of photos). Examples of PVIP files include Neil Armstrong, Charles F. Kettering, and the Wright Brothers.

H. Allan Sullivan Air Force Commendation Scrapbook

Abstract

Collection consists of 1 scrapbook assembled by H. Allan Sullivan. The materials contained therein are related to Sullivan's work with the U.S. Army Air Corps and the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command, his work at McCook Field, and as the editor of the Slipstream aviation magazine. The Scrapbook contains many commendations and merit awards. Also included are clippings and photographs. Scrapbook was purchased at an estate auction by Christine Stadium of Dayton, OH.

Drew Taylor Aircraft Collection

Abstract

The Drew Taylor Aircraft Collection contains a variety of photographs and documents on United States Air Force aircraft, primarily from the mid-twentieth century. The collection contains photographs, negatives, articles, perspective drawings, and technical information on each airplane. The collection also includes a flight manual from 1965, a 1974 Aerospace Information Handbook on Air Force vehicles, and a booklet on Air Force Aces.

This collection contains the papers of Trinity Baptist Church, located on Shiloh Springs Road in Dayton, Ohio. The church opened in 1886 and closed in 2011. The records include pamphlets, bulletins, financial records, member files, Women's Baptist Missionary Society materials, correspondence, and programs.

Trotwood Women's Club Records

The collection includes minutes, treasury reports, program information, certificates, newspaper clippings, and a few photographs from the Trotwood Women's Club of Trotwood, Ohio. These items were collected by members of the Trotwood Women's Club and relate to the club's activities and community involvement from its creation in 1936 to 2011. The club is still active in the community today.
