Abstract

The records consist of files of the Burns-Jackson Corporation, and include the articles of incorporation, meeting minutes, correspondence, clippings, publications, and working papers of a group formed in 1965 to restore and preserve the Oregon District/Burns-Jackson area of Dayton, Ohio.

Scope and Contents

Robert Henn was the pilot for WHIO Airscout and WING Skywatch from 1980-1995. The collection consists mainly of aerial photographs (all 35mm slide format) of the Dayton metropolitan area, including especially Trotwood, Brookville, and downtown Dayton. Photos (non-aerial) of aircraft on display at the Dayton Air Show are also included. Most slides are identified at the item level by the creator, with a description and date written on the slide.

Abstract

The collection consists primarily of color slides depicting aircraft, mostly civilian planes at air fields throughout the Miami Valley, with the bulk dating from 1959 to 1988. The slides were in most cases created, and in some cases collected, by Roger Miller, an aviation enthusiast and local historian from Middletown, Ohio.

Content Description The collection consists primarily of black and white negatives (as well as a few black and white prints and a few color slides) of Reynolds and Reynolds Company buildings and employees; animals and people at Richard H. Grant's Normandy Farm near Centerville; and other activities and scenes around Dayton, including (but not limited to) Esther Price Candy Company, the building of a new St. Anthony Catholic Church, Liberal Market, harness racing, downtown Dayton road construction, and aircraft...

Scope and Contents The subseries Aperture Cards and Slides contains positive film-based images of both people and subjects, as individual frames encased in aperture cards (with associated description on the card) or, to a lesser extent, 35mm slides (with limited description). Abstract

This collection is mostly comprised of documents that describe the history and development of the School of Professional Psychology of Wright State University. These documents include accreditation studies and other various necessities of the program’s development. The collection also contains a large portion of graduation records and pamphlets.
