A Special Wish Foundation Records
A Special Wish Foundation, Inc. was the first wish-granting organization in the State of Ohio and the third such organization in the nation, when it was founded in 1982. This records collection largely contains the meeting minutes from 1989-2011, media coverage from approximately 2000-2009 and photographs from numerous wishes. The collection also contains audio-visual media including pictures, negatives, VHS, CDs, and DVDs.
Richard Allaman Papers
Allaman was active locally in the field of children's social services. He held several posts in the Ohio-Kentucky area including Superintendent of the Montgomery County Juvenile Court, Director of the Louisville Children's Home, and Superintendent of Shawn Acres, the Montgomery County Children's Home. His papers consist of correspondence, case notes, published and unpublished papers, programs, conference materials, photographs, reports, and awards.
