During the interview Doug speaks about his family, his work at the Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton, and his life.

On February 9, 2011, Ashley Robbins interviewed Cathy Sayer for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview, Cathy discusses her career as a faculty member and instructor in Wright State University's Department of English, and her efforts as a pioneer in the service-learning concept, helping students to meet their learning objectives through the purposeful integration of community service into their course work.

On April 29, 2001 Matt Opperman interviewed Helen Schemmel, the interviewer’s great-grandmother, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. In the interview Helen discusses being a young adult during the Depression and her life during World War II.

On February 5, 2011 Elise Kelly interviewed Sister Maria Francine Stacy, director of Dayton’s Catholic Hispanic Ministry, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Sister Maria discussed being the daughter of an immigrant, joining the Sisters of Notre Dame, and her work with the Hispanic community in Ohio.

On February 25, 2003 Andrea Spence interviewed Marty Strickler for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Marty discusses the death of her father, growing up in a large family with a widowed mother, and caring for her siblings with disabilities.

On April 12, 2001 Joe Miller interviewed Mark Striebich, a special needs teacher, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Mark discusses his life and interesting events that he remembered. The majority of the interview focuses on Mark's experience during the Vietnam War.

On March 2, 2011 Ashley Whitaker interviewed Judy Turner, an Executive Director at the Alzheimer’s Association in Dayton, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Judy discussed her childhood, volunteering, working for the Alzheimer’s Association, and more.

On February 22, 2003 Elaine Wallace interviewed Holly Urbanc, the interviewer’s daughter-in-law, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Holly discusses her early life, marriage, and coping with the loss of her young daughter.

On April 26, 2003 Lucy Putnam interviewed Percy Vera, a retired Economics Professor at Sinclair Community College, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Percy discusses his family’s immigration from Belize to the United States, attending the University of Dayton, and race relations in Dayton.

On February 15, 2011 Audriana Quafisi interviewed Mary Welkin, a former teacher, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Mary discussed her education, her work at the Knoop Children’s Home, and her volunteer work.
