Scope and Contents From the Series: Orville and Katharine Wright arrived in Berlin on August 19, 1909. Orville had come to fulfill a contract signed at Pau with the August Scherl Company, newspaper publishers, for public exhibition flights in Berlin, and with the Flugmaschine Wright Gesellschaft, or German Wright Flying Machine Company, for demonstration and training flights for student pilot Captain Paul Englehard.
