Dayton Together's district demographic principles presented in a bulleted list.

Members of the Charter Development Committee were encouraged to prepare one or more "Position Papers" relating to: individual opinion/preference regarding the structure of the metro government; and/or any provisions of the Charter the member wished to comment upon or about which the member wanted to offer a dissenting opinion or alternative point of view.

Voters will vote on a ballot referendum regarding the adoption of a Charter. The Charter, which should be readily available for review, must specifically detail everything about the new entity, and the transition outlined in this document.
