Scope and Contents

Dr. Cline graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1921. He began practice in Dayton, Ohio, in 1923 and specialized in gynecology. He was a commissioned medical officer for the federal government and worked for a time in Budapest, Hungary. The collection contains a portfolio of case studies and surgery performed in Europe, possibly for board certification.

Biographical / Historical

Dr. Cline was born in 1895. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine Bloomington/Indianapolis in 1921. He began practice in Dayton, Ohio, in 1923 and specialized in gynecology. He was a commissioned medical officer for the federal government and worked for a month in 1931 in the gynecological department of the Count Apponyi Poliklinik in Budapest, Hungary. He moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1945 and practiced there until his retirement twenty years later.
