Scope and Contents

Dr. Ira W. Baldwin practiced medicine in Xenia from 1896 to 1902. His collection of material includes several lecture tickets from the Medical College of Ohio including one on “Institutes of Medicine” for sessions in 1866 and 1867 and one on “Theory and Practice of Medicine and Clinical Medicine” for sessions in 1862 and 1863. The collection also includes Dr. Baldwin’s license to practice medicine in Ohio issued in 1896 and a diploma from the Ohio College of Medicine issued in 1867.

Dr. Ira W. Baldwin graduated from the Ohio College of Medicine in 1867. He received a license to practice medicine in Ohio on May 25, 1896 and practiced medicine in Xenia, Ohio until his death on February 4, 1902.
