Scope and Content

The collection consists of eight letters written by Katharine Wright to her friend, Agnes Beck, dating from Sept. 22, 1908 through Feb. 21, 1929. The letters discuss Wilbur and Orville Wright, their flights, the Wright Family, and other personal matters. Of particular interest is the letter of Sept. 22, 1908 which describes Orville Wright's crash at Fort Myer, Virginia, and his convalescence.
