Scope and Contents
The collection consists of a single newspaper supplement, "Supplement to The Osborn Local," of Osborn, Ohio, volume XXXI (31), issue number 21, dated March 5, 1914. The entire supplement is dedicated to the impending flood control measures to be undertaken by the Miami Conservancy District to protect the Miami Valley from flooding, following the devastating flood of 1913. The main headline on the front page reads: "Facing Forward: The progress and future of flood prevention in the Miami Valley. Four pages of authoritative information of vital importance to all."
