Blurry image of uneven terrain, circa 1919-circa 1925

 Item — Folder: SC-382, Item: 14

Content Description

From the Collection:

The collection consists of fourteen (14) 8x10 black and white photographs of Charles F. Kettering and others on a trip to Europe. It includes group photos, as well as scenery. None of the photographs are identified as to people or locations, but based on signs in some of the photos, they appear to have been taken in Italy and possibly France. The photos probably depict one of several trips to Europe that Kettering embarked upon between the years 1919 and 1925, including a trip in 1919 as part of Assistant Secretary of War Benedict Crowell's national committee to the International Aircraft Standards Commission conference in Paris and other research-related trips in the early 1920s on behalf of General Motors.
